Radio carbon date comes from Waters et al. 2009:110. Also important to note that later on Adovasio et al. 1990:352 suggest that the beginning date can be pushed back further to earlier to 14500 based on the Meadowcroft site in SW PA. See also: Sciulli 1977:71-72; Sturtevant 1978:16
