Description | Lower diazoma or Theatron walkway, approximately 0.84 m wide, extending above the semicircular orchestra wall and linked to the adytus maximus pavements by the north south staircases (i.e., see Locus 12). The limestone flags of the walkway, which rest on a fill bedding (see Locus 14) and abut the lowest row of seats on the south, are heavily worn and damaged. |
