Description | Coarse rubble fill of small, roughly squared sandstone blocks and cobbles, filling the wedge-shaped gap formed by the rear faces of the east vault springer and the west face of the earlier middle stylobate wall of the East Colonnade. This fill functioned, ostensibly, as a leveling fill for the flat ceiling members carried by the later continuous vault. |
