Description This is not an articulated layer, but rather a stratum of rubble fill. It consists of both hewn and unhewn boulders, broken dressed ashlars, wadi/field stones, pebbles and soil. The soil component consists of a mixture of silt, sand, and granules with a Munsell Color between 7.5 YR 5/4 – 4/4 (Brown). A small selection of pottery, bone and metal were recovered. This stratum is a part of the secondary construction event related to the blockage of the vaults (Tr. 97 2004 Loci 12 and 14).

Phase Description Phase V: Late Nabataean CE 1st c. redesign and repairs.
Size 1.30 m north south-by-3.20 m east west.
Combined with Loci 14, 13, 11, 11A, 10, 9, 7.
