Definition Wall.
Description North-south wall, parallel to the podium. This wall shows two different faces. The west wall seems to be original, built with large, hewn blocks and, apparently, set on good foundation. The east wall one consists of small, horizontal stones and seems to have been re-built. Its foundation (Locus 25) lay on a red, sandy soil (Locus 30). This wall forms a corner with the wall Locus 29 (cf. below). The foundation of the western face of the wall (Locus 5) cannot be determined; it may be different from the section visible above the canalization (Locus 18). On the other hand, we do not know the northern extension of the wall, if it extends north under the fallen column.
