Definition North Doorway
Description Locus 3 is the northernmost doorway in the wall, which separates the East Walkway from the East Corridor. The doorway contains a limestone threshold, with limestone and sandstone doorjambs. Some plaster was found in the doorway, which originally adhered to its walls. Two spaces for door attachments are incised into each side of the doorway. One lock hole remains in the central east side of the threshold. The threshold contains three sections, but is poorly preserved in this doorway. The north side of the doorway is four courses high, and the south side is five courses high. The doorway is 1.80 m in width on the east and 2.04 m in width on the west.
