Description Locus 5 is a light grayish brown fine grained soil which is located approximately over Locus 2 (the SW portion of the trench). The soil is fine grained yet clay-like in texture. This locus is defined by the slope exposed by removing material from Locus 2. Locus 5 contains terracotta, pottery, and bone. The material found is similer to that of Locus 2, however, in smaller quantities. Locus 5 also contains a dense packing of rocks.
