Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Description The drain in the Hexagonal Pavement is a hexagonal carving 0.28 m across cut in the center of the aforementioned paver. In the center is cut a circle (0.12 m in diameter) which served as the actual drain. An identical drain was found in the West Exedra, which still contained a bronze sleeve set into the smaller hexagonal cutting. Two soil samples were taken from the inside of the drain to be analyzed: 1) depth of 0.10 m — 7.5YR 5/3; 2) depth of 0.26 m — 7.5YR 4/3. The inside of the drain was packed with small rubble, but after cleaning there seemed to be channels running from the south and east and possibly to the north.
