Description Locus 63 is the soil below the blockage within the western south niche (part of Locus 83) of the bathroom. The soil is a fine loose sand (Munsell 7.5 YR 5/4 brown), with inclusions of small stones, pottery, glass and bone. The soil is likely the result of dumping for the filling in of the niche just before its blockage. Locus 63 is therefore phased to Stage 5.
