Description Unshaped limestone and sandstone cobbles and boulders protecting the east side of the canalization extending along the west side of the trench. The matrix consists of soil (Munsell 10YR 6/4, light yellowish brown) and lumps of clay (Munsell 5GY 7/1, light greenish gray), suggesting that, like the wadi pebble fill (Locus 9), the matrix also originated in a wadi bed.
