Description Locus 3 was the dark grayish brown rock and material packing extending from the northwestern corner to the south and east. The soil is looser and finer than the locus 1 soil. There were organics present such as roots, especially along the southern extent of the trench where roots from trees in CA 72 extend into the trench. It contained terracotta, pottery, and bone. Locus 3 contained the large animal jaw bone (20120234).
