Description | Locus 8 comprises of the south portion of the west wall of SP94. It is comprised of 8 courses of hewn sandstone ashlars set in dirt. It does not bond with the south wall of the Residential Quarter (Locus 20). The excavation of Locus 10 of SP94 demonstrated that it was built onto sand at a depth of 2.34 m below A. Initially thought to be part of the same wall construction as the North Portion of the West Wall, this locus was included in the description of Locus 5 in the SP94 report. |
