Description | In conjuction with Locus 15 Early Platform/ Wall, was this artifactualy rich deposit of mostly bone and ceramic. Although a narrow tract, the remains indicate that either this area to the side of Locus 15 was either dumped or intentionally placed there. The dark yellowish brown soil (Munsell 10 YR 4/6) is loose and balls easily. Based on a preliminary pottery dates supplied by Yvonne Gerbner the chronology for the Locus is 150-100 BCE and included examples of Eastern Terra Sigulata, and Attic Black glazed ware. |
