| Description | Locus 6 is a dense dark claylike soil containing packings of rocks and materials, these materials being visible, large fragemnts of cover tile, pan tile, and pithos body sherds. It also contained material such as pottery, bone, and cardon. It contains small amounts of organics such as roots. Slag and vitrified terracoota were also present. For the large part, locus 6 remains unexcavated with the exception of the locus 11 sounding. |
