Description | Not enough of this wall was excavated to know very much about it. Much of the top of the wall is still covered with small ashlars. It is not known whether these ashlars are fill that still remains on top of the wall, or if it is a packing fill within the wall. The width of the wall is also not known. There is a flat-sided ashlar among the Locus 23, packing ashlars that is parallel to the wall face. If this marks the exterior of the wall, then the wall would be roughly 0.70 m thick. More excavation is needed to answer these questions, but the excavation of the packing fill was too time consuming to continue work in this area at this time. |
Top (m) | Top elevation: 883.70 m at center. |
