Description | Locus 3 consists of the humus layer of the southern extension of CA-57 and was found at approximately the same level as Locus 1. The soil was a dark brown topsoil heavily saturated with white root rot and medium clumps of brown root rot. The soil was heavily concentrated with large tree roots and small tree and bush roots. Compared to Locus 1, Locus 3 contained significantly less clay. |
