Condition Broken at three sides; chipped; worn; surface encrustation.
Description Fragment of a "cut-out", modelled akroterion (?) in shape apparently the antithetic counterpart of 19710415; of the wide bottom part the trapezoidal section with a straight end and a small portion of the recessed curving edge are preserved; of the curved rising member the lowest part is preserved; the back is flattened, with an irregular surface; the front has a flattened top surface; of the four preserved edges, the two which confine the rising member are smooth and slightly curving; they are slightly rounded and proceed onto the front without an angle; the edge which forms the end of the trapezoidal section at the bottom part of the fragment is flat, recessed by about 0.015 m. from the top plane.
Fabric Description Murlo terracotta, fired orange to orange brown on surface, gray at core; traces of red slip preserved on both back and front side and inner edge of curving member.
