Underlies | Locus 7. |
Overlies | Locus 9. |
Description | Composed of washed down fill of the same Brown color as Locus 7 (Munsell 7.5 YR 4/4). This locus is distinct from Locus 7 in that it has less rocky inclusions, more pottery, and also painted stucco fragments and some ashes. Among the pottery collected, two Nabataean cups were found, one partial and one complete. These are similar to other cups found inside the Locus 22 Tabun. Almost identical cups were also found in the adjacent SP84 excavations. |
