The area between the shoulder and the rim is decorated with three horizontal grooves which run parallel to each other around the pot. An area on the side walls about mid-way up from the base has an incision consisting of a vertical line crossed by four horizontal lines, including one at the termination of the vertical line above. Inscription of "X" on bottom.
Fabric Description A fairly coarse orange clay shading to a dark brown as it approaches surface; large white bits and other smaller impurities. Exterior surface is fired to tones ranging from dark brown to a light orange, particularly on the base.
