Description Part of the left side nad lower edge of a pan tile. The upper edge is missing. The up-turned left edge, flat on the exterior and curved on the interior, diminishes in height along its length: near the lower edge = 0.064 m, near the upper edge = 0.058 m. It also diminishes in thickness from 0.037 m at 10 cm. from the left edge, to 0.028 m at 20 cm, 0.024 m at 30 cm and 0.020 m at 40 cm from the edge. The thickness of the pan varies in different sections, for example, it is 0.019 m at the lower edge and 0.028 m at 30 cm from the lower edge. The plane of the tile is convex. A rectangular jog 0.020 m by 0.070 m is cut from the lower up-turned left edge.
Fabric Description Coarse clay with numerous impurities including stones and mica. Fired reddish orange on exterior; dark on interior.
