Surface exploration methods | The site was discovered during a visual pedestrian survey of the project area. Transects were initially walked in intervals of 10 meters. In areas where artifacts were found transects of 5-3.5 meters were walked. All cultural materal was marked with pin flags. Artifacts were then mapped and collected. Site boundaries were delineated on the site map according to artifact concentrations. |
