Description | Locus 10 was opened to remove a scattering of pottery and architectural terracotta located in the northeastern corner of the trench. The area was approximately one meter squared, and abutted the robust linear rock formation to the west. The soil was the same dark brown soil as locus 1 soil. Locus 10 contained a moderate amount of pottery of primarily buccheroid and impasto fabric. Locus 10 was closed when the rest of the trench was closed for the season. |
