Description	This locus was merely the fill removed from the canal on the west of the East Plaza in an attempt to find the upper extent of the opening feeding the southwest corner of the cistern. The soil was loose and fine and had a Munsell of 7.5YR4/6, Strong Brown. The finds included several pieces of pottery, bone, a chunk of metal slag, and a very nice lacrymatory (Special Find #7, Seq. No. SP 85161), more bulbous in shape than those found in SP 84 and in the other Loci of SP 85.
