Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Location In the south center near to the east of the trench.
Description The stucco decoration on Locus 15’s lip is intentionally pitted by the tips of fingers to create a simple decorative pattern. Unlike other stucco found at the Great Temple, there are no remains of paint and it does not appear that this was a way off adhering additional decorative elements onto the piece i.e. it is not a reeding or pin and socket system. The stucco has some ceramic pieces incorporated into it but does not have the look or consistency of other hydraulic stucco recovered at the site.
