Description | This is an overburden layer of Light Brown (Munsell 7.5 YR 6/4), coarse, loose, sandy soil. It includes the area to the south of Locus 26. (This area was subsequently absorbed by the excavations of Trench 77.) The locus extended 4.70 m west of Locus 26, above the South Corridor Wall of the Upper Temenos. The Locus measured 2.30 m in width. The soil contained some architectural stucco and ashlars. |
