Description	Locus 6 represents the build-up of the North Wall and the accompanying arch niche system which was put in place to hold the vault covering the corridor/room. Unlike Locus 3, its counterpart on the South Wall, Locus 6 is poorly constructed, consisting of larger, hewn stones set into somewhat irregular courses. The entire build-up rests upon a layer of soil and small, irregular stones approximately 0.10-0.22 m thick that separates it from Locus 5, the North Wall proper. The remains of the east portion of this locus consist of two large, pier-like structures which hold the arch niches. Most of the west half of this locus has been destroyed or is otherwise missing. There is one large in situ ashlar from this locus in the center of the trench, as well as a section of wall in the northwest which has slumped to the north. Two arch niches that line up exactly with niches in the South Wall build-up are located on the easternmost “pier”.
