Condition Broken at base, at one side and at top; chipped; worn.
Description Fragment of a "cut-out" akroterion preserving the right-hand base with lowest part of an obliquely rising member and an obliquely set hole; two flat smooth sides, one unfinished; two flat smooth edges, one rising from the tile with an angular outline, to form the outer straight edge of an obliquely rising member; the other edge, of which little is preserved, has a sharp hair-pin curve; it forms the left edge of the rising member and also the lowest part of an obliquely set hole in the bottom middle of the acroterion; on the surface of the broken base there are roughly incised, short, transversal lines made in the process of attaching the acroterion to the tile.
