Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Size The limestone pavement covers approximately one half of the area. It is particularly patchy and eroded in the north.
Description This pavement of limestone hexagonal pavers exhibits the wear and tear of plow action from later farming activities. Many of the pavers are scarred by plow marks and its general condition is uneven. There is the disappointing loss of pavers particularly in the middle of the pavement for 7.70 m north south-by-2.90 east west. The pavers resting under the west balk seem to be in better condition than those in the east are where a disturbance in the pavement was found in Trench 60.
