  • mound has late Middle Woodland(Swift Creek-early Weedon Is.) carbon dated to AD 650, w/ historic homestead on hammock also; midden 200 E of mound on bayshore has Middle Woodland and Fort Walton ceramics-two carbon dates of 14th and 16th century
  • MIDDLE WOODLAND SWIFT CREEK-EARLY WEEDEN ISLAND MATERIALS; COULD BE FROM MOUND SPREAD AROUND BY MACHINE; HABITATION REMAINS ALSO MAY BE PRESENT; SURFACE INSPECTION ONLY
