The cataloguer first recorded basic measurements of the sherd, and then a detailed description of the artifact (Shape, Munsell color, Inclusions, etc.). We based our descriptions on standard descriptions employed by the American School of Classical Studies Excavations at Corinth (Corinth Excavation Handbook). We recorded this information on a paper form and later keyed it intoa Microsoft Access database. We scanned these forms and archived the paper copy at the University of North Dakota.
