Condition Chain fragment is oxidized and broken off at both ends. Some of the links have become mis-fed. Three associated pieces (one with two links) are preserved but unattached.
Description Fragment of a bronze chain with three associated pieces. Preserved portion of the chain consists of eight links with coils of varying thickness and size. Each link consists of a coiled wire of metal. There is one large, roughly central link with four smaller links preserved to one side and three to the other side. Some of the links are mis-fed and no longer preserve their symmetrical shape. Three associated but unattached links are also preserved. Two of them are fragmentary, the third preserves one full coil with a portion of another attached to it.
