Underlies | Locus 38. |
Definition | Channel on west side of Locus 42 Room B |
Bottom (m) | Closing Levels: 905.240 m; 905.240 m. |
Description | Small channel cut into the bedrock. It is uncertain as to what function this channel had. Further excavation into the Locus 35 floor bedding will aid in assessing what the extent of the channel was and where its flow was directed. What seems to be obvious is that at some later point during Stage 2, or possibly later, the channel ceased to serve any purpose and was blocked off from the Locus 37 wall and also probably from the water reservoir north of the Locus 41 into which it might have originally led. |
Overlies | Bedrock. |
Location | Cut in between the Locus 42 bedrock floor and the interior (eastern) face of the East Perimeter Wall. |
Top (m) | Opening Levels: 905.580 m; 905.800 m. |
Combined with | Cuts into the Locus 41 wall on the north and originally, also flowed into the Locus 37 wall on the south. |
