Description | Very dark, grayish brown soil of Munsell 10YR 3/2, sooty and fine. Very fine, ashy layer. Recovered pottery, glass, stone, stucco and a large amount of roof tiles, with a lesser number of canalization tiles. Hundreds of roof tiles were recovered exclusively in this ash layer. Some were burned, but most were intact and not exposed to flame. |
