General remarks Under L1026 at the end of rock line L1019 there are rocks of a larger scale in a somewhat flat configuration. These may connect to L1036 and be associated with L1033. They are above and may be associated with L1039.

Has note Contexts excavated in trenches were recorded using the "locus system." A locus is any discrete three-dimensional entity excavated in a trench. The key to the locus system is the recognition that a locus is any one thing. Differences in soil composition or texture are therefore as important as, for example, the difference between a pit and a wall. If two entities were distinct, they were considered separate loci and were therefore assigned separate locus numbers. It should also be noted that every context excavated in a trench was given a locus number and thus the trench itself is made up completely of excavated loci.

Descriptive Attribute Value(s)
Material Stones
Stone brick size 0.25 - 0.35m
Associated surfaces L1037
Structure type Rectangular end of a possible structure
Courses amount 1
Wall abuts L1026, L1043, possible L1036
Remarks The rocks of L1026 were sitting on this, and may be associated as another level. Also, the rocks of L1043 seem to be lined up next to these and extend away from them.
