Description | This locus has fewer fist-size and smaller stones than locus 8. Also, several larger stones are evident in the northern sector of this locus. The color of the soil is yellowish-olive brown. Approximately one bowl (16 cm. in diameter/8 cm. in depth) of terracotta fragments were recovered (most of the fragments were small and well-worn, but some of the larger pieces had cleaner breaks). 78 sherds of pottery were found. |
