| Bird Specimens Description | >4mm flotation #4080 (#1-11), 24 L, has a few mammalian and amphibian specimens and a fair amount of bird, mostly long bone shaft fragments. About 20% burnt, rather fragmented but surface condition generally good. >4mm flotation #4081 (#12-28), 23 liters, has a certain amount of of non-bird, including some neonatal caprine. There is a fair amount of bird, of various sizes, through the body except the legs. About 40% burnt; pretty fresh. |
