Description North-south wall perpendicular to the east-west Locus 21 wall. Composed of hewn and dressed, ashlar blocks. The two southernmost blocks possibly formed a threshold of a doorway exiting to the west, but the wall is in such disrepair it is difficult to state this as fact. It seems likely, given the large arch in Locus 21 wall between Trench 15 and Trench 9, that the lower portions of this wall (as yet not exposed) served as a sort of buttress wall for the arch (now fallen) as it continued to project northward. Where it has been cleared, the wall has a preserved thickness of one course, 0.03-0.40 m, but its western components may have fallen in with the arch. One P/ST (15051) was removed from the wall, due to its probable collapse.
Definition Wall.
