Description Locus 6 is in the northwestern corner of the trench. It is a more mottled yellow soil with flecks of white and yellow present through the locus. Along the southern boundary are several large rocks. Pottery, bone, and tile were present in the locus. There was a patch of carbon included soil along the southern border of the locus near locus 8. An impasto rim (20130111), a coarseware base (20130119), a ridged fragment of buccheroid (20130147), an iron rod (20130127) and a bone finial fragment (20130122) were found in this locus. Also a fragment of coarse impasto rim was found in this locus (20130243). 1 in 3 buckets was sieved in this locus. This locus is an ancient context. Never fully excavated.
