Description | The threshold interior is composed of one rectangular limestone block measuring 1.09 m by- 0.20 m. (The second block to the east is missing) At 0.275 m above this or on the threshold exterior is the uppermost threshold block 1.62 m in length-by-0.33 m in width. It has ten bronze pins mortared in place each measuring 0.04 m-by-0.025 m in width set 0.0165 m apart. Below this, 0.15 m, on the street side are two limestone ashlarsthe west ashlar is 0.40 m-by-0.48 m, and the second is 0.49 m-by-0.42 m. Set next to these is a limestone stretchers 0.74 m-by-0.37 m. In front of these is a sandstone block with a doorjambthe jamb measures 0.09 m-by-0.075 m. This block also has a horizontal groove 0.07 m in depth with a trough measuring 0.67 m-by-0.15 m. Next to the doorjamb block to the east is a sandstone block measuring 0.87 m-by-0.64 m. This doorway measures 1.45 m north south-by-1.50 m east west. |
