Description | Sandy fill with stones of uneven, weathered, brown soil (Munsell 7.5YR 5/2). Tipped approximately 20o from the southeast to northwest. Most of this locus was used as a path for wheelbarrow runs from Trenches 1, 2 and 3. This locus, however, was relatively clear of stones and rubble. Whether or not this is due to the previous excavations by the German team is unknown. |
