Description | Locus 109 is a thin layer of yellow silty clay, Munsell 7.5YR 6/6. It is the second layer of pavement bedding over the original sandstone bedding. It is the same soil type used for the stair bedding which means that they could be connected. The layer is 0.09 m thick with no inclusions other than small plaster fragments. |
