Description | ars, dislodged during collapse. The soil in Locus 21 contains a comparatively high concentration of wall plaster, as well as a high concentration of stone and plaster architectural fragments. Many of these were cornice fragments. One limestone corner cornice of the doorway (Seq. No. 73119), in good condition, had collapsed in the exact center of the doorway (1.15 m from the southernmost side of the doorway). Much of the contents of the doorway, including a damaged column drum with a Masons Mark (with diameter of approximately 1.20 m), were removed with the bulldozer. |
