Description | This is yet another layer of packing ashlars for the tunnels. This locus consisted of yellow, red, white and black, rounded, sandstone ashlars (possible explanation of color in the previous Locus 17, fill). The ashlars in this locus were smaller than the ashlars in the previous levels and not quite as regular in their placing. They were still very tightly-packed and within the area of the tunnel packing ashlars. |
