Description | Sixth column from the southwest corner of the Temple, along the western Inter-Columnar Wall. Sandstone drums; one drum is visible in situ above the current ground level; three additional drums (Locus C5/1020, Locus C5/1021, and Locus B5/1039) from the collapse were placed on top for re-constructive purposes. White plaster found on the west face of the stones of the Inter-Columnar Wall Locus 42 that abutted the east face of the column would have originally been applied to the face of the column as decoration. This column lists slightly to the west out of line with the rest of the columns along the west Inter-Columnar Wall and was probably knocked out of place during one of the earthquakes. |
Bottom (m) | Bottom elevation: 908.206 m at west. |
