Architectural or Soil Locus? Soil
Description This locus was almost entirely comprised of plaster and stone tumble. There is very little soil; what remains is 10YR 6/8. The plaster probably fell from the Mohammad column. The pieces we found fit into four different types: i) white and curved, ii) white and flat, iii) white and lipped/raised edge and iv) red and flat. All had an average size of 0.10 m-x-0.05 m-x-0.04 m. Some of the red pieces were very thick, reaching thicknesses of 0.08 m. All together we found about 200 pieces of plaster in this level.
