Surface exploration methods | The site was discovered during a visual pedestrian survey of the project area. Transects were initially walked in intervals of 10m apart. In areas where artifacts were found, transect intervals were reduced to 5m apart. All cultural material was marked with pin-flags. Artifacts were then mapped and collected. Site boundaries were delineated on the site map according to artifact concentrations. |
