Description The screen wall for the Theater's Pulpitum. The wall is constructed of ashlar blocks and stands four courses high. It extends east-west across the front of the Theater area and is interrupted by two sets of stairs which allow access to the stage platform, Pulpitum, in the west and two niches in the center—only the west half was excavated in the 1997 season. (Seq. 47421).

Relations The southeast excavated portion was covered by the Locus 6 Fill/Debris. Locus 13 Fill/Debris extends up to its south face. The Decorative Border Locus 18 is built up to the base of its south face.

Size Measurements: 8.15 m in length (east-west, Trenches 40 and 47 combined), 3.40 m in length (east-west, in Trench 47 only), 0.50 m in depth (face of wall only — does not include the full depth of the stage platform), 1.23 m in height.
