Phase Description
Bottom (m) Closing depth: 898.736 m (average).
Description The nature of this fill was homogeneous. It is sandy with little or no cultural materials — no ashlars. When sherds were collected they were small 0.03 m — they were probably broken into small fragments by plow action. At the end of the season, this trench was backfilled to protect the pavers from further deterioration.
Top (m) Opening depth: 899.516 (?) m to 899.556 m at northwest and southwest, 898.566 m at northeast and southeast.
