Description | A layer of stones found on and around the Locus 2 stone platform, which included both complete ashlars and numerous fragments of shattered stone of various sizes. One of the complete wall ashlars (Seq. No. SP118008) was found embedded in the rubble from its impact with the stone platform. Its position suggests that it fell from the Betyl Wall during a collapse event. All of the stone fragments were found at the same approximate depth in the deposit. |
