Description | Locus 4, fill was the top level of soil excavated from inside the north channel. It measured 2.67 m-x-0.66 m and was 0.36 m in depth. It was bordered on the east and the west by the channel walls. The pottery (P8003) consisted manly of nondescript body sherds, but also included eight Nabataean body sherds and three Nabataean rim sherds, as well as several jar/jug handles. Also found were a few tesserae, one piece of glass and three bones. |
